The Penumbra has fallen to the Wyrm. The Weaver has calcified the Gauntlet making it impossible to reach to the other side.
The numbers of Garou have fallen dramatically and they now number the population of the other Changing Breeds. The chances of
Kinfolk and Garou conceiving are slim to none, and those that make it past the first year of infancy lack a world of colour and
spirit; they see their surroundings in dark shades of gray, and find it difficult to experience the most basic of emotions. The
Garou, mighty warriors of Gaia, are facing a very real threat; extinction. The Apocalypse, the End Times, are here.
Like the old World of Darkness, this setting has much the same feel just a little more desperate. It's dark and morbid modern day.
Crime rates are up, making some cities very dangerous places to be, and although authorities have stepped up, there is little time
for compassion. The most powerful countries are closer to another world war, which some say will be the war that ends all wars - or
life itself. Garou are not the only ones that believe that everything is coming to an end.
